4 Large Peaches
6 oz. bacon
30 large basil leaves, plus more for garnish
Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Balsamic glaze, store-bought or homemade (optional)

Bacon Wrapped Peaches – Aupa Plancha

Recipe for Bacon Wrapped Peaches

  1. Wash and dry the peaches.
  2. Cut each peach in half and then each half into four quarters.
  3. Cut the bacon slices in half.
  4. Set the Aupa Plancha to medium low heat and preheat for 5 minutes.
  5. Meanwhile, place one large basil leaf on each side of the peach slices.
  6. Wrap each peach slice and basil leaf with a slice of bacon.
  7. Pin the loose end of the bacon slice with a toothpick.
  8. Brush the cooking surface lightly with olive oil.
  9. Grill the peach and bacon slices until the bacon is cooked, turning so all sides are evenly cooked, about 10-15 minutes.
  10. Before serving drizzle with balsamic glaze.
