AUPA PLANCHA, THE AUTHENTIC BASQUE GRILL

INGREDIENTS

1-1/2 lbs (600g) of Chistorra Sausage,* cut into 1-inch (2-cm) pieces
Favorite tomato sauce
1 loaf of French bread, cut into thin slices

Chistorra Sausage Appetizer – Aupa Plancha

How to make Chistorra Sausage Appetizers:

  1. Begin by preheating your Aupa Plancha Grill medium heat.
  2. Cook the Chistorra slices on the Aupa Plancha for approximately 8 minutes, making sure to turn often.
  3. Approximately two minutes before the sausage is done, toast both sides of the bread slices on the Aupa Plancha.
  4. Remove the bread from the Aupa Plancha and spoon a teaspoon of tomato sauce onto each slice of bread.
  5. Place a piece of sauce on each slice and hold in place with a toothpick.
