AUPA PLANCHA, THE AUTHENTIC BASQUE GRILL

INGREDIENTS

2-lbs sliced mushrooms (sliced 1/4" thick) recommend White and/or Portobello
4 Tbsp balsmamic vinegar
2 Tbsp soy sauce
5-6 cloves garlic, chopped
1 tsp thyme, chopped
salt and pepper to taste

Grilled Balsamic Mushrooms – Aupa Plancha

Balsamic mushrooms are the perfect side dish to any main course. The benefit of cooking on the Aupa Plancha is that they can easily cook alongside your main course, too!

Prep time: 35 mins   Grilling time: 10-15 mins

  1. Marinate the mushrooms in the mixture of the remaining ingredients for 30 mins in the refrigerator.
  2. Heat the plancha to medium heat 5 mins prior to cooking or while your meat or fish cook; approximately 10-15 mins prior to completion.
  3. The mushrooms should have absorbed most of the marinade.  Pour onto the plancha in addition to any remaining marinade, tossing frequently until desired tenderness, approximately 10-15 mins.
